Can I see a work before I buy it?
You can visit the gallery Monday to Saturday, 10am to 1pm, 4 to 7pm, to view the work. However, if you are not onsite, we can send you photos and additional information about a work. Simply contact us by e-mail info@christinexart.com

Can I contact an artist?
On our website, we protect the artists’ information, so it’s not possible to contact them directly. However, we can act as an intermediary and answer any questions you may have!

How are artworks priced?
The prices of the works are determined by the artists according to several criteria: the artist’s rating, the material, the dimensions, the time spent…

What are the gallery’s opening hours?
From 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Are there specific days when admission is free?
Entrance to the gallery is totally free, everyday.

How do I submit my work for exhibition in the gallery?
You can send us an email with your artwork, which we will consider as soon as possible.
Please email info@christinexart.com with subject being Artist Application and we will have a look and reply once we get the time to answer. We understand that works are better seen live but we are usually busy attending to clients. Seeing the works online give us an indication as to whether they fall within the gallery’s direction.

What types of artwork does the gallery exhibit?
Figurative, landscape and abstract paintings and sculptures by local and foreign artists. We have a mixture between local and internationally acclaimed artists.

Are the exhibitions temporary or permanent?
Exhibitions are temporary and last several weeks on average. Besides exhibitions, we also act as a shop and we always have a variety of artworks available should yo be looking for something more specific.

Is it possible to purchase works of art directly from the gallery?
You can visit the gallery during opening hours to purchase artworks.

What methods of payment are accepted for art purchases?
If you are visiting the gallery in person, we accept cash of small amounts, local cheques, Paypal transfer, credit card on our epos machine (our machine only accepts VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut), mobile pay through Revolut or BOV mobile pay.  If you are purchasing through our website, our online payment system is through Paypal.
Alternatively, at times we also accept bank transfers.

Will my artwork purchase be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity?
When you purchase an original artwork or a limited edition, you’ll receive a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist or the gallerist.

How much does delivery cost?
Local delivery (Malta & Gozo) is free. The cost of delivery abroad is calculated according to the type of artwork (format, weight) and your delivery address.

How are works protected during shipment?
We have designed packaging to suit the artwork you have ordered. Works of art are insured by our logistics partner.

Can I take photos during my visit to the gallery?
You can take photos of the gallery and the works but please follow copyright laws and know that works of art by other artists cannot be reproduced.
