Born in 1979, Valentina attended the Paolo Toschi Institute of Art in Parma, graduating in Advertising Graphics. After a year spent in a graphic studio, her fixed nail for drawing led her to wander the streets of art, for this reason when someone asks her what her profession is she answers: Independent Walker.
She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna with a final certificate of 110 cum laude in the School of Painting. The figures that Biasetti draws on paper or on an inteled sheet move in the solitude of an empty space, relating only to the color, the pictorial gesture or the geometric constructions.
Full and empty are an attempt to contact and dialogue between the figures who seek an intimate understanding between them while remaining suspended in a time scale, as if they were snapshots taken at different times that find a pretext of closeness only in imagination: an imaginary bridge for a place called “Elsewhere”.
