A contemporary artwork by the artist Dereje Shiferaw, titled "Visa 2025" using acrylics on paper. In this work, an African man is shown figuratively with a black earring in a red button-up dress shirt; his shirt is slightly open in the centre. A white blob is painted with red letter text boldly saying "visa". Small snippets of documents are placed nearby. The background is primarily a very muddy cadmium yellow with hints of blue and red and squiggles of black in the very top and bottom. The hands of the figure are almost fused; one is unable to make out if his hands are wrapped together, clenching them, or fused into one.

A contemporary artwork by the artist Dereje Shiferaw, titled "Visa 2025" using acrylics on paper. The work is displayed in its white frame hanging on a grey wall, and meanwhile, a young African man in a red turtleneck contemplates the painting; his body is cropped, starting from his lower torso and up, giving us a sense of scale.
