by Regina Lyubovnaya
Regina Lyubovnaya is a Russian-born painter whose artistic journey has taken her from the Moscow Institute of Arts to Loyola Marymount University, Pasadena Art Center, Florence Academy of Art, and the Art Students League of New York. Over the past 30 years, she has taught at Brentwood Art Center, Kline Academy, Los Angeles Fine Art Academy, and led numerous workshops.
Her paintings balance traditional realism with expressive abstraction, where light becomes the soul of her work. Through rich color, luminous surfaces, and dynamic brushwork, she translates reality into the poetic language of paint.
Regina has exhibited in over 20 solo shows and has been represented by galleries including Monarch Gallery (La Jolla), Lotton Gallery (Chicago), Bellagio International Gallery (Ft. Lauderdale), Paul Scott Gallery (Scottsdale), Village Gallery (Beverly Hills), and New Masters Gallery (Carmel).
Regina’s work has been featured in Art Collectors, Southwest Art, Western Design & Architecture, and International Art Collector.
