    About Goran
Goran Cejkov studied at both universities ‘ Kiril l Metodi’ and ‘ Kliment Ohridski’ in Macedonia where he comes from. From 1994 until 1997, he was running his own art gallery ‘ Gallerium’  and during this period , also exhibited his stone scultpures at the ‘ National Gallery of Macedonia’. In 1997 , he left to Malta to continue his artistic career and soon after this point , also exhibited his artworks at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Malta . He even had his  own exhibition at the NATO headquarters in Belgium and has been exhibiting his artworks at Artitude Gallery since its opening in 2004 .

“Goran Cejkov is an artist who has been resident in Malta for some time, but who hails from Macedonia, that multi-ethnic Balkan region which prides itself for rich cultural and historical past that gave to the ancient world king Philip II and his son Alexander the great. Perhaps Cejkov , who has already displayed his work in various countries is better known for his wood and metal sculptures, but during the past years he has come to discover for himself the workable potential of the globigerina limestone with its reputed softness that is as much visual  as it is tactile and which has enriched the worlds artistic heritage, as well as in his nearly photographic paintings. Such qualities could be pointed out both were stylisation merges the source of inspiration with its abstracted interpretation, as well as in those instances where a feeling for naturalish predominates.” Emanuel Fiorentino (Sunday Times,2000)
