Surrounded by the paintings of Olaug Vethal, children will be invited to explore the exhibition and discover the colours, shapes, moods and ideas that capture their imagination.
Rather than copying a particular artwork, they will use what they see around them as a starting point to create a painting of their own. Through colour and imagination, they will be encouraged to express not only what they see, but also what they feel and imagine.
Inspired by Beyond the Visible, the workshop encourages children to experience art freely and discover how looking at art can open the door to their own creativity.
