ENGDAYE LEMMA

Ethiopian Artist, Born in 1987 (1980 in Ethiopian calendar) 

Engdaye Lemma  received his BFA in Printmaking from the Alle School of Fine Art and Design in Addis Ababa in 2007 and currently lectures there as an assistant lecturer. He’s had a good history of exhibitions and participated in workshops that focus on printmaking. He combines various techniques to try to express timeless and unbound, flexible concepts.

He recently had his work exhibited with the Addis Fine Art Gallery in two group exhibitions: ‘Alle Legends’ at the Addis Fine Art Gallery in Ethiopia from January to April, and then ‘Eastern Voices: Contemporary Artists from East Africa’ at the Addis Fine Art Gallery in London from June to July, with his last solo show ‘Floating Souls’ currently happening at the Addis Fine Art Gallery in London, until 24th February 2024.
