DAN GIRMA is a talented artist and printmaker from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, who obtained a diploma in graphic arts at the Entoto Poly technique TVET college, furthering his education at the Ale school of Fine Art. He attended several workshops and group/ solo exhibitions like those at the National Theatre , at the Alliance Ethio- France (group), at the Gebre Kerstos Desta Modern Art museum in 2022 (group) , at the Addis Ababa Hilton hotel in 2021 (group), at the Fendika Cultural Centre in 2022 (group) and at the Kenyan Museum, the Brazilian Embassy and in Spain in 2023. He has also participated in an International Emerging Artists exhibition called ‘Art and Human. Rights’ in Canada in 2023, at
the Gebre Kerstos Desta Modern Art museum following a poster design collaboration with the American Embassy and the Swiss Embassy in 2023, at the 20th International Short Film Festival Detmold with title ‘Do Your Share in 2024’ and many more. Currently he works a his studio, teaching art in British International School and attending different projects.
