Kevin Attard | Malta @kevin.twisting.wires
Kevin Attard has been twisting wires to create beautiful filigree pieces for over 25 years. The craft was introduced to him by a friend of his father's and instantaneously, he knew that this was what he was destined to do and within no time, this turned into his career as he started selling his work to shops, participating in fairs locally and abroad and through time, selling his work at galleries and collaborating with artists in various exhibitions. He has also been teaching the craft of filigree and hopes to see others working on filigree full-time in the hope that Maltese filigree doesn't become extinct. In fact, his latest initiative is the School of Filigree in Qormi, opening in the coming months.
These works, the collection 'Xemx Wisq Sabiħa', were designed by Greta Ellul Xuereb.
The whole set of 4 will be offered 1,000 Euros, instead of 1,120 Euros.
