Focusing on the memory of her late grandmother and reliving childhood happy memories; Mia Anastasi Sammut, a London based Maltese born artist, uses bright colours and patterns which represents her love for all things Maltese. Mia has graduated with honours in International Relations from the University of Malta. She pursued her further education in the UK, with an MA in Publishing Production from the LCC and an Art PGCE from Goldsmiths University. Mia spent many years designing, painting and teaching art to students in London. Now she works as a full-time artist from her studio. Working with mixed media, her Maltese themed art conveys the warmth and vibrancy of the island.
