  Lara Parker is a creative entrepreneur with a profound interest in art history, painting, graphic design, crochet, resin art, music, travel and anything that involves the visual and creative arts. Lara studied at the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK, obtaining a Master of Arts degree, Post Graduate Diploma, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Visual Communication. Her enthusiasm for creativity is expressed in the different disciplines explored throughout her work. She draws inspiration from nature, museums, galleries, and exploring different cultures and experiences from around the globe.
  

  Lara actively participates in the Maltese art scene, being involved for a number of years in the Fine Arts Auction organised by the Office of the President, as well as the Caritas Malta Collective Art Exhibitions. She was nominated for the award of ‘Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021’ for her development of new business ventures in the creative industry.
  An award-winning graphic designer by profession, Lara runs her own advertising agency and has over the past few years explored different artistic avenues, with crochet art being one of the recent additions to her creative portfolio.
  
  The launch of the ‘Crochet Wall Art Collection’ draws inspiration from the rich colours of underwater marine life. Using the freeform crochet technique, she creates artistic and unique collage pieces woven together in a whimsical manner.
